i know many people who think that having a domain is expensive.
My unix admin friend is paying $40 a month for a domain and having to linked to his dynamic IP address...
Here i'll show you how to get it all for $9 a year.
First get a domain name with www.godaddy.com
Then go to zoneedit.com and sign up with a free account.
Zoneedit will provide you with 2 name servers...
eneter those 2 nameservers into your godaddy account.
Then you want zoneedit to know you current IP address.
Go to
www.directupdate.net
this will monitor changes of your IP address, and everytime it changes it will update your zoneedit.com account.
That's it...
Good luck,
Noam |
