My site is http:\\www.trebacz.com. The home page loads fine on all browsers exceopt AOL 8.0 browser (IE I'm pretty sure). Whe AOL's browser tries to load the page it doesn't load the first part of the index.htm file. Instead I see

OK
Content-Length: 11556
Content-Length: 12637
Content-Type: text/html
Last-Modified: Tue, 30 Sep 2003 23:01:26 GMT
Connection: Keep-Alive
Keep-Alive: timeout=200000, max=10
Date: Thu, 02 Oct 2003 01:17:25 GMT
Server: Abyss/1.1.2 (Win32) AbyssLib/1.0.4

ly-site/zerrulea.gif" width="600" height="10"></p>

The the actual HTML file begins to load in the middle of the file (It skips several important lines of HTML and starsts loading in the middle of a line).

The site was built using frontpage and has a simple home page.

Agree on the AOL comment, but I can't always choose my visitors.

I'm not setting the keep alive in my index page. My abyss server settings are set to 10 (perhaps this is where the max 10 in the header is coming from).

The file length is repeated twice in the header with different sizes in each?

The intro HTML for my index file is listed below;

<html>

<head>
<META NAME="DESCRIPTION" CONTENT="View the David Trebacz family adventures. Includes recent pictures, family history, Mchenry weather and a guestbook to communicate with other Trebacz families around the world.</span>">
<meta name="KEYWORDS" content="trebacz, david, dave, corte, allison, wendi, mchenry weather radar, family, australian shepard">
<meta name="ProgId" content="FrontPage.Editor.Document">

trebacz,

Please upgrade to the latest version of Abyss Web Server X1 (1.1.6). The version you're using is really outdated. Tell us next if the problem is still occuring with the new version.

New version did the trick. Thanks for the help.

I'm very happy with the software -does a great job for a small webserver.
