8O

Hello everybody....

i have a static ip address: 203.192.201.159
I am using a Cable Broadband connection.
This abyss server is installed on my Win 2k Profressional. This pc acts as a server and it connects to other 5 pcs in LAN.

My ip is static and my internet provider said that.. it does not block port 80.
But still whenver i type my ip in internet explorer it does not work!
I signed up with myserver.org for domain
gorasia.myserver.org to redirect to my ip... but myserver.org always loads that this site is currently offline!

Whats this damn problem?
Please help. I am not running the Dynamic IP Address updater as a service in Win 2k.

Thanks.

What do you mean by this? Does all your LAN PC need to connect thru your w2k before you can surf WWW?

This is good. One less problem to narrow down the cause.

What do you get this message from "Offline"? Domain Name server does not care or provide any message. I assume it from your browser.

Before the public can access your Abyss webserver, can your internal LAN PC connect and get your webpage from Abyss? All you need is enter your W2K LAN IP to your URL browser. Do you get those webpage?

BTW, have you check if Abyss is working first by entering > localhost < or > 127.0.0.1 <?
