Windows automaticly creates a Desktop.ini for every folder on the disk, including htdocs :?
So i need to be able to block *.*.*.* from acessing it, is there a way?

Oh and a small note, why do my logs keep trashing? full of seeming random characters like a ramdump etc? to which no more requests are dumped

The Desktop.ini should not be a problem eventhough people can see it. It does not contain any critical info to cause anything to your PC.

I believe you referring to those Bot. That should not be a problem with Abyss unless you are using IIS without those update patch. It was meant for IIS server.

Anyone running a webserver will see this scripting and coding. It apply to any server like FTP. There will be constant bomberment of unknown. Just make sure all your security patch are updated and virus definition are current. Setup your router to accept only those port that you need. Disable any execution if not needed. Disable any service from your Windows OS that does not require. Setup and configure your Firewall for only those appl or utils only that can run.
