Every once in a while while I'm viewing a page, the page will not display properly, it will be as if there was a "<" or a qutoe mark left off somewhere, so it starts displaying what appears to be code, but not really, it more appears to be just random characters. It's hard to explain. Here's a sample of the sort of stuff that it might display:
select> td v <> < le> n _lt.a.gifrder="1" bb>Rebr> > /tbr> />
This text (in this case) is sandwiched between a couple of <hr>'s. As soon as I press the F5 key to refresh, it appears just fine. When I look at the source, it doesn't appear to be a problem.
I didn't notice this until I changed over to Abyss web server.
I'm hosting this on a Windows 2000 Pro machine. I'm using Mozilla web browser Version 1.4 to view the page with.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Jesse |

The same thing happens on my PC.
It appears to be a Mozilla issue with prior versions of the browser as well.
The browser is trying to diplay the page faster than it can "translate" it. |

Please do the tests using another browser (Opera or Internet Explorer). Do you still have the same problems? _________________ Support Team

 This is definately a MOZILLA bug.
This happened before I installed Abyss.
These strange "code strings" pop up only once in a while, fortunately.
Like Aprelium says, just test with other browsers is best.
(It reminds me, back when I was a kid, my mom used to tell me to "think before you speak". Well, that's the problem with the Mozilla browser. It's displaying the page before it decodes it.)   |

If it did this all the time, it wouldn't be aproblem, but I may do 100 clicks, and not see a problem, then it suddenly happens. I could abandon Mozilla for now, but I just don't want to go that route. |
