Well, as it seems now when ever I try to connect to the internet, it doesnt
detect any connections and uses the default ip address 127.0.0.1 :evil:
So if anyone has had this prob before. please tell me how to fix it. |

It does not detect your connection? Do you mean from the outside of your LAN (Public IP)? Or your browser kept on using 127.0.01 (internal machine IP)?
- If your browser use the Internal, try manually change to www.msn.com or other URL.
- If you are talking about from outside your LAN, then it really depend on your router if it loopback. Or else you need to have redirect from a server like your DOMAIN and redirect (bounce back) to your PC with Abyss. Just make sure your Router or Gateway is allowing port 80 (default setting) to your Abyss BOX. Or have your friend to connect and or you can try using a dial-up connection to your Abyss BOX. If you have a Dynamic IP, you then need to take an extra step by detecting what IP you currently using. Use this http://www.aprelium.com/ip/

I'm using a dial-up on my test syetem right now, but I have no firewall
nor router, just a line in a wall.
It was working before today, it detected my ip and I could use it
with my no-ip domain name. |
