hello all,
i'm running version x1 on a win2k os with cable and using ie6. almost everytime i go to or refresh a page on the server some of my images will not show. i've used several preloading scripts in hopes of resolving this issue with not much luck. on occasion i'll get lucky and all images will show.
is there anything else i can do to both speed up image loading and prevent x boxes?
ps: pages are in standard html; .shtml for my includes.

This is an IE caching problem. Try to change the settings of the Internet Explorer cache to solve that issue.

What would I change the cache settings to? This is also a problem I have encountered, and I desire specific enough information to put on a faq to allow people with all operating systems to fix the problem. Thanks

In Internet Options, choose General > Temporary Internet Files > Settings and select Automatic. That would work fine for most of the cases.
You can also press Refresh while holding CTRL key down.
