..hey there, I'm new to the forum. I've been a fan of Abyss for a while now and have used it for everything webserver-wise, it's a nice alternative to Apache, which seems to invade the internet..
Anyway, I've set up a PhpBB forum on my server, it all runs smoothly, the only thing is, whenever users try to login, they're hit with a Page Cannot be Displayed error. It's not a server error or 404, it's like the page doesn't exist. I haven't tampered with login.php in the phpbb2 directory and this has never happened before!
It's driving me mental! I've ruled out Cookie problems, so is anybody else out there familiar with this problem? I'm almost positive it's with the server as after checking out the phpbb community support forums, somebody else had the same problem but that was with Apache!
Can anybody help? I'd be grateful, thanks!
Mr E

mr_explicit,
Our bet is that it's configuration issue with PhpBB. Please give us the URL of your PhpBB forum so that we can give it a try and experience the error. _________________ Follow @abyssws on Twitter

When you install the forum you must use the IP/URL that you will be using for the rest of the forums life. If you don't then the forum doesn't know where to look to log in.
To solve this, login as normal, when you get the 404 error, hit "back" on your browser, refresh the page and you'll be magically logged in. Now go to the admin panel and change the host to the correct IP/domain, save the settings and try again. This should solve the problem. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)
