|

ok, I am tired of opening logs and seeing everyday someone trying to hack into my Computer: "GET /c/winnt/system32/cmd.exe?/c+dir HTTP/1.0" 404 266 I know they aren't gettin in, but I still hate seeing it. Is there something I can do to ban these IP's..? So the can't even connect to my server?
I have a little php script in my root that will ban an ip that comes straight to root, but doesn't keep this from happening. I am not sure if I can do this with my router or not so I wanted to see if Abyss has any new features to do it.
Thanks

You can use a firewall to block static IP addresses. Kerio version 2 should do this at http://www.kerio.com, its free give it a try, good luck :) _________________ Victor B. Gonzalez

Victor is right. Use a firewall Kerio ans Zone Alrm Pro will surely do the trick!
Good luck
P.S. If you are using a router, check to see if it can do this for you, since some of them (e.g. Zyxel routers) support features like that....! _________________ Simple...fast...free..... |
