Hello Travis,
About the XP firewall...
Start > Control Panel > Network Connections... Select your Internet
connection and right click it > Properties... Advanced > Settings...
Locate Web Server (HTTP) in the list and check it... If it is
already checked your router might not be configured correctly or
which is the case most of the times is your ISP is blocking port
80...
If you open port 80 with your XP firewall but someone outside cannot
access your site go to http://www.securitymetrics.com and take the
test... Just make sure port 80 is neither closed or stealth... If
after opening it and configuring everything it is closed or stealth
chances are your ISP is blocking you...
The trick is to go around it and create a new entry in your XP
firewall to acknowledge the new port... Make it something like
8000, 9000 or higher... Make sure to configure your router
correctly...
About your Global IP...
The following addresses are local and cannot be seen by the globe...
http://localhost/
http://127.0.0.1/
http://192.168.0.0/ all the way up to http://255.255.255.255/
Any IP to fall between the above two such as 193.23.234.2 will not
work...
Your global IP can be found on the Aprelium website under the link
find out your IP or within the Abyss console also...
Hope this helps :) _________________ Victor B. Gonzalez
