I use ZoneAlarm Pro (ZAP), so I'm not sure whether this is the same in ZoneAlarm or not, but in case it is and in case you're interested... In ZAP, you can have things working okay by setting the Fire ...

Just as a point of interest, I have my web site in an entirely different directory from the Abyss directory, left abyss/htdocs/, and it works for me. Did you restart the server?
