i found 4.3.0 on PHP's website and got it set up and working...however i would still like to know how to fix this problem, so i could use a newer version of PHP...it's just not as urgent

ok PLEASE don't say "search for it, it's been talked about before" because i tried, and I couldn't find a helpful thread about this...

before xmas break, i upgraded my PHP to something and started ...
