hey guys,
what is the best software to use to protect your home server form antivirus , hackers and misc like the ddos i think that how is spelled to your homeserver.? |

AVG for antivirus
ZoneAlarm for firewall
There is no protection against a DDoS since the server sees it as legitimate traffic. You just have to avoid doing anything to someone or putting something on the site that would make someone want to do it. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

reason i asked because i was reading about a site that did that and apparently one site don't like the other and figure i can do something to protect against that. ddos attacks

I have a Linksys BEFSX41 router. It has an anti-DDOS mechanism. A router can more easily put up with bogus requests than a web server. _________________ Stephen
