whats the best ftp server to use cause im on a router and i tried bulletproof but no one can connect unless i do dmz host which i have off now. _________________

FileZilla. And if you can't use bulleproof because of your router, FileZilla wont work either. |

Have you tried using port forwarding?
If you have, which port(s) were you using, as ftp servers connect on port 21 _________________ Anthony R

of course i have ive tryed 21 and 22 and all over bulletproof website there haveing the same exact problem
*update* same thing with filezilla wont let any outside people connect _________________

I had a problem with people connecting to FileZilla witout having DMZ on. I figured out that if you changed some of the settings on the FTP client it would connect. I don't remember exactly what the setting was though. I was later able to just turn on DMZ and all of those problems disappeared. _________________

ok thanks and btw you should not leave DMZ host on as it opens all ports _________________

Cerberus FTP Server works fine for me, easy to use you can't go wrong... _________________
