FileZilla. And if you can't use bulleproof because of your router, FileZilla wont work either.

Have you tried using port forwarding?
If you have, which port(s) were you using, as ftp servers connect on port 21

I had a problem with people connecting to FileZilla witout having DMZ on. I figured out that if you changed some of the settings on the FTP client it would connect. I don't remember exactly what the setting was though. I was later able to just turn on DMZ and all of those problems disappeared.

I forgot the exact port but it is configurable and it's for Passive FTP. Look it up on Google. :)
