I want to use php 4 with abyss. I got it loaded and after screwing round for 5 hours with phpmyadmin I goit it running. Oh I cheated. I just copied the phpmyadmin and mysql folders out of my old xampp server lOL!!
Anyway it says mbwrite and mysql dll is not loaded in phpmyadmin. Where can I d/l these and what do I put in the php ini file? |

| Thats the thing....I dont want to use php 5. Phpbb forums seem to have problems with php 5 Im told and have experienced. There is reports all over the place bout. Phpbb is too old for php5.... |

| Yes.. Every time I run phpbb I get a socket error message in ACP. Im sure it is enabled via php.inf. I also thought it might be flashchat since it uses its own socket server, but nope same thing. I turned off flashchat socket server and get the same message. This is why I wanted to go back to php 4 |
