I am having problems installing phpMyAdmin on my Abyss webserver.

I have checked out "trustabyss.com" and have tried following it, to no availe.

Can somone help me with setting it up? I have it in my HTMLdocs and it simply doesn't find it when I go to my adress, where other pages show up.

Are you getting a 404 error? If so, you are typing the path to it wrong. If there is something else wrong, you need to elaborate more.

I will update on the next website. You can only access it locally based on
my tutorial. Just change 127.0.0.1 with your website URL to access it using
your website URL. Sorry but I cannot update it at the moment.

Actually, mine is 127.0.0.1; that's what I use to acess my phpBB (my final goal to be hosting...), and am running on port 1024 (won't let me go back to 80  )

so, I enter http://127.0.0.1:1024 and it brings me to my hosted files, I click on phpMyAdmin, it comes up with:

Error 404

Not Found

If you cannot set Abyss Web Server to port 80, chances are is that another
application is using that port, or you have two instances of Abyss running in
the background. Check and make sure you can access it before starting up
a new process of Abyss Web Server and see if it helps.

Note: When running Abyss Web Server as an NT Service, you cannot start
Abyss Web Server from the start menu after restarting the computer, now
the reason for that, is that abyss will already be running.

Any program that runs as an NT Service, will start in the backround, which
can be stopped from the processes list or from the Services panel, located
in the controle panel of windows.

To access it, go to "Start -> Controle Panel (Switch to Classic View) ->
Administrative Tools -> Services.

You can stop the Abyss Web Server service from there. I strongly recommend
that you check for this and see if abyss is running as a service.

Sincerely, TRUSTpunk

To know which application is already using port 80, please read http://www.aprelium.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=47427#47427 .
