So how, in 10 minutes, did you not manage to use the search terms 'difference between asp and asp.net' ? The link I included in my original post is from the 2nd result on Google for that query, and the rest of the results on the same page are all equally relevant and informative. _________________

Quick explanation:
ASP.NET is the better version of ASP. It concentrates more on OOP and WebForms, than ASP does.
ASP.NET is newer and better than ASP.
