I have searched the entire forum looking for the answer to my problem. I've read many postings but haven't found the answer I'm looking for.
I want to remotely access my console when I am away from home. I have a static IP and a Netgear router. I have my port 80 forwarded to the computer which is my server and I can view my web-pages with no problem. I have allowed access to all IP addresses but still can't get in. I can access the console from any computer on my network but not when I am away from home. What step am I missing? |

Port 80 only allows access to the website(s) served by Abyss. You should also forward the console port (9999 by default) from the router to Abyss. _________________

Don't forget to allow access to * in the console. By default, the console can only be accessed from 192.168.*.* and 127.0.0.1. |
