multiforums script

i found a multiforums script which is free but its getting updated and now it can only be used with apache because of the htaccess. is there anyway around this so i could use it on abyss.

if anyone can get it to work on abyss it would be great.

We have quickly reviewed the source code of the script and .htaccess use is not required. They are only adding .htaccess files to force Apache to recognize .php files as PHP script (which is not required on Abyss if you correctly configure PHP support).
There is also another .htaccess file in /cache which is there to deny access to the directory. You can do the same by setting an IP Control rule for /cache and deny access to all IP address (by adding * in the denied list).
