I think that I have done everthing I was supposed to I have even installed over both PHP5 and Abyss web server and on my earlier install I could change the index file in htdocs but now for some reason even when I remove the index I still get the server is running properly page even with a refresh.
Also when I try to access PHP I get an index of what is in the file same with myPhpAdmin if I go as far as to access the intire file then it shows me the same thing that I would get if I open the file with an editor any clue what I am doing wrong?
Thanks in advance _________________ Thanks I needed That! |

It's clear that PHP is not installed correctly.
Go to http://www.aprelium.com/abyssws/php.html and go over the instructions EXACTLY
or to http://www.aprelium.com/abyssws/php5win.html if you're using Aprelium's preconfigured
PHP package.
As for the index file still being seen, check your documents path in the console to verify it's correct.
Also, just hitting refresh won't work. To over-ride your browser's cache, you need to hit Ctrl + F5.
BTW - welcome to the forums. ;) |

I just reinstalled after redownloading from downloads .com and when I installed the first thing I get from the installer is an error message that states that it cannot write to finish the install I have to chose ignore then when I start the console I do not see Host so I have to figure that the link that aprelium is giving is old. I dont know why I get the error and I doubt that it is old. but I thought I had better State exactly what is going on so that I can get the solution _________________ Thanks I needed That! |
