Alright....I am new to this server. I have it all set up(i think). I have my html saved ect.. i can look at my site through the http://127.0.1:80, but its local network only right? I told my firend to try that and, of course, it did not work. But when i try to use the http://<ip> or http://<ip>:<port> thing it goes to my console.
I know people have asked this before so if it's in the forum sry and point it out to me if you will. I dont know how to let others get to my site!
Thanks,
Ryan _________________ Yay |

Y helo thar search.
Keyboards: router, port forwarding, blocked ports, NAT.
You're right, most common question; won't take long to find answers. _________________

Another thing to check for is this
Start/Control Panel/Windows Firewall/Exceptions tab
Make sure UPnP Framework is Checked.
I haven't seen any mention of this in the tutorials. |

That would be because you absolutely do not need UPnP to run a webserver. All you need is port 80 (or whatever port you choose to use) forwarded. _________________
