OK, here's the problem.

I woke up this morning, and tried to go to my forums. PHPBB Critical Error - Can't conncet to Database.

So I head over to phpmyadmin, pop out my backups, and load in the backup for my forum, which, thankfully, is only 3 days old and there have been no new posts or anything.

So I upload it. Once it comes back that it has been sucessful, I go back to the phpmyadmin home page.

Seeing as my bad luck only gets worse, I get a

MySQL said:

#1130 - Host 'localhost' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server

The problem is I haven't changed anything...

I went to the config.inc file, and my hostname for the log-in is localhost...

Then, to make matters even worse and finish off my bad morning, I find that the database tables are in the MySQL folder, right there, and completly full.

And I still can't get to my forum because the database is named incorrectly. But I can't get into to phpmyadmin.

And ideas?

Hmm... It looks as if it isn't anymore. What is the executable to start it?

Reinstall MySQL without uninstalling it. You will NOT lose any database data. If else fails, restart the computer and try again.

Tried all that, and the stuff Andy reccomended on MSN.

I reinstaled it. Same problem.

It says it can't find the MyOBDC Driver (In the MySQL Admin it is in that textbox)
the box says:

MyOBDC Textbox wrote:

Not Found
Driver 3.51 Not Found

Any ideas?

3 guesses what you'll find out if you search the forum for MySQL Driver - use "Search for all terms" if you haven't figured out how to effectively use a search function.
