at the moment my ip address is: (removed) (its dynamic)
the router is a belkin and i think that i have the correct settings.
i need someone to check this outside the network as i get the router configuration page.
and i don't know if blueyonder blocks port 80
Edit: removed the ip address

thanks you two
just read the posts and have solved part of the mystery of the errors i'm getting.
when i first turned on i got cannot write the process ID to log/abyssws.pid put i solved that by changing the read-write permmissions
but now ive got a new error, it started at 21:33:02 (local time? (BST)) and has happened every 11 minutes from then, the last being at 22:00:02
but one of the errors happened about the time tp viewed the page (21:55:02)
the errors are:

i am not running the gui, and its a fresh install of FreeBSD and Abyss

the lill' "beast" has now been turned off as i want some sleep tonight
just incase anyone wondered why it wasn't working :)
