I have a home server running, my friends can get on to it, but when I try to access it from my school, I get a "page cannot be displayed" error page. The funny thing is that you can access the site from my school for only about 1 period (50 mins) after that, it cannot be viewed from the school anymore. Does anyone know why this is happening? What would cause the school to be able to see my site for about 50 mins then later on in the day cannot access it at all? |

several things may have occurred. Your IP address may have changed. The computer running Abyss could have crashed, or lost Internet connection. _________________ Olly |

You do know all schools have hefty firewalls! It is odd that you cannot view it for the remainding time of the day, but some schools firewalls will detect the site as inappropriate and will be banned resulting in a cannot be viewed. I dont want you to get in trouble at school but try using http://ibypass.ibypass.org during the period when the site does not usually work. This will tell you if its the school or your computer! Please give me an update.
