Before I go and buy the pro version, I just wanted to make sure of one thing.
I am using KF Web Server Version 2.5.0 at the moment with 32 web sites all from different domains, but all pointing to the same ip address and the default port 80.
The question really is, does your server work in the same way so when V-hosting is set up. All my domains will still point to the one ip address or do I have to set them all to use different ports. (hope not).
Thanks.

I think it works by domain name using the same IP, or ports also. Like both. I'm not that sure, though. |

getcom,
Abyss Web Server X2 supports all the modes of virtual hosting including the mode you're currently using (i.e. multiple domain names pointing to the same IP and using the same port).
You can also declare hosts on different ports. If you have multiple IP addresses, you can also bind some of them to specific IPs.
A single host can also be associated with many domain names. This is useful if you want to have mydomain.com and www.mydomain.com serve the same site. You can also use patterns: for example to make a host serve all the requests that are made to all the subdomains of mydomain.com, you can simply associate it with *.mydomain.com . _________________ Support Team
