I understand that index is home page thing, but I need to know 3 things.

1. When I create IE html pages, what should the objects link URL look like?
examples:
http://mysitename.com/freestuff
http://mysitename.com/freestuff.html
http://mysitename.com/freestuff/
http://mysitename.com/freestuff.htm

2. In the htdoc folder how should I name the IE files?
example:
freestuff
freestuff.html
freestuff.htm

3. On the control panel in Server Parameters do I, or do I not add names to the index files area? And if so, how do I name them?
example:
freestuff
freestuff.htm
freestuff.html

If it helps any you can visit my page and run your mouse over the links and see how thier links are named http://www.bouncewho.bounceme.net

All I had to do was try to figure it out.

1. finish all URL page links (except for the index home page link) with .htm
example:
freestuff.htm
reviews.htm
etc.

2.in the htdocs folder name page files with name only.
example:
freestuff
reviews
(not freestuff.html or reviews.htm)

3.Don't include any info into the peremeters index folders.

I was wondering how to do the same kind of thing......

going to a, a.html, a.htm, a.php should go to the page that exists if a page does does not exist at that location.

How can I do this?
