Hi all, im new to havin a web server ive only ever created websites. but im sick of hosts i wanna host myself. I dont get how to do thins fully i read the manural etc but i cant quite understand it. Especially need a more detailed explanation of how to get a site tht everyone can see online. Can anyone give a tutorial tht can help. thxs in advance |

allowing access to your computer various slightly in everyone's setup.
do you have a router? (if yes model). You will need to setup port forwarding (or Virtual Server).
do you have a firewall? You will need to allow Abyss internet access.

Im on a wireless network so yes i have a router its a netgear i think but how do i set up a virtual server. |

i cant find the routers manual anywhere. and i cant get to the router to change anything. So is there any other way around it so i can host etc |

No.
A router is designed to block unwanted traffic. If you do not configure it to tell it that the traffic to your server is allowed, it will not pass that traffic to your PC.
Most routers manuals are available online. What router are you using (exact model name/number please) ? |
