first off i would like to say that i love this server. its so convenient and easy to use. the problem i get is when i try to view my website from another computer, by entering my ip address, it prompts me for a username and password. i try and enter what i did for the admin on mthe control panel, then i try things such as my username on my computer and password but that doesn't work either. i can only view it by doing localhost. |

are you using a router? it sounds liek you connecting to the remote connection feature for a router. try changing to port the server runs on to soem thing different, lik 90, then typing http://your.ip:port and see if thats gets you there. |

They do it so you dont suck their bandwith and cause problems with their servers, as in broadband, because you share bandwith with everyone in the neighborhood. _________________
