I'm new to web servers, so that might explain my problem.
Whenever I enter my ip address (NOT the 127.0.0.1 ip), it comes up with The page cannot be displayed
In previous posts it mentioned firewalls. I have Zone Alarm Pro 5.1.011.000, and it allows internet access and server access to Abyss Web Server X1.
Is that the problem, or is something else????[/b]

I found out that I need to turn off the firewall!
Bit of a problem for me though, it's blocked 100's of attempted hacks (about a few per 10 seconds). Anyone know about a firewall I could use for my server??

turning off your firewall isnt the issue, it was user config issue and you didnt configure the firewall correctly.
downloading another firewall isnt the answer either. |
