Hi,

I have a php site (not complicated one) and i would to distribute it in a cdrom and i would like to use the abyss server starting from the cdrom (autorun).
The problem is that server needs a writable directory to write the configuration file when starting. Is there a way to instruct the server to read the already made configuration file bundled in the cdrom? Thanx a lot.

As for redistributing the binary I cant say, you will need to contact the vendor as stated above.

But it is possible to do something that will do just what you want, I dont see why you would want to use a PHP enabled site on CD where a javascripted site would do just the job with no server required as javascript is supported in any windows machine that has explorer or IE installed.

The differences between javascript and PHP, you are going to have to re-code.
