New User Account Activation problem

i signed up for a new user acct on my website, and once i recieved the email i attempted to click on the link. Once clicked it loaded the home page up with have the pics not loaded ........ it was nasty looking.... and the user acct was not activated

any ideas whats going wrong?

Do you have any mods installed? If so which ones, because certain ones will mess with the templates. Try a fresh install or an alternative:

EasyBB
DarkBB
These have all the mods already installed.

Note: there are others but im going with inivision ;)
