Ive just successfully got my ftp, http and sql server online ready for paid hosting..
Just before I start serving the online world, is it ok to use abyss as the provider of this? Or is it against your policy?

The free license of Abyss gives you the right to install and use Abyss to host any kind of site (personal, commercial or whatever.) So your use is fully conforming to our license and is legal.
What is forbidden is to sell Abyss Web Server, to bundle it with other products, or to distribute a modified copy without our consent.
