Hello,
This question concerns the image that says powered by abyss...
- What happens if we don't put this (I am..., just wondering)
- Since it totally doesn't match with my site, can we change the colors?

There is no obligation: Putting this image in your site is not mandatory. It only preferred to let people know Abyss Web Server.
If it doesnt' match your site design, and if you still want to let people know about Abyss Web Server, you can include a simple textual link on your page as follows:

I just changed all the colors and made it silver-type. Silver world, yay!
