if i move (because i plan to) to a new server, and reinstall abyss, php, perl, mysql, phpmyadmin, ahtml...all the software, and just move my abyss web server directory (which includes the configuration settings for the console, or is that somewhere else?) will i have to do anything special, or will it be a seamless move? _________________ http://jeremythegeek.com |

Should be seamless (I've done it before). Just reinstall everything, and copy over your abyss.conf and your \htdocs directory, and you should be safe. Make sure to install everything in the exact same directories you have them now. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

gymboy689,
A simple copy should be fine (except that you should enable manually the Autostart feature on the new server). But iNaNimAtE's suggestion is the best way to do the move. _________________ Support Team
