You need to configure the script and/or php.ini to send email correctly.
First, go into php.ini and configure the email settings (look around for the setting line; as I do not remember the exact value by heart) and configure it to your need. If you script also has some settings that need to be configured, change those also.
Either of these settings may ask for a Local Mail Function or SMTP server. Since you are using Windows, there is no included mail function. You can download something such as BLAT, or you can download an SMTP server. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

There are many different mail servers. The one I used to use, Mercury/32, is free and easy to use. For what you need, it should be apropriate.
Also, an email server has nothing to do with Abyss. It runs just like any other server. Install it as you would a normal program. _________________ Bienvenidos! |
