I would like to be able to add usears so they can upload and download to my serve from other computers using FTP? how do i set this up?
Can i make it so they can only acess one folder?
How do i set passwords etc?

You first have to get a ftp server. Abyss is only a web server (http). For begginers I recommend the free http://www.cerberusftp.com/ |

Like I said abyss is not an ftp server. There is no way to access it with cute ftp. |

Hello M@t--
As nquin321 says, "Like I said abyss is not an ftp server. There is no way to access it with cute ftp." The caveat to that statement is that *if* you set up a ftp server on your machine and set it to the directories of your abyss installation, you can access it with Cute or any other ftp client.
An ftp sever is not included with the Abyss software, but it is easily added. Many people using abyss have a ftp server they have added.

aww, thansk
what i want is me and my mate run a website that is hosted on my server,
Now he wants to be able to update it with out having to e-mailing me the files first.
How the best way to do this?
I was thing FTP but as you said this cant be done. what ftp server could i used?
