I would like to disable the server from running everytime I startup.I am using XP Home Edition and can't seem to figure out how to accomplish this. Any instructions appreciated.

double-click on the icon in the taskbar
click on server
uncheck autostart

For what ever reason it does not show in the Task Bar.

Are you sure:



If it isn't there hit ctrl - alt -delete. Go to processes and look for abyssws.exe.

or is it in the list of inactive prgrams?

Also, check the task manager.
CTRL+ALT+DEL

you could try start>run>type MSCONFIG>go to the start up tab>uncheck abyss web server

Or right click on the task bar, and hit task manager... but we all have our ways.
