|

I have my domain, jeremythegeek.com, forwarded to my ip:888. Is there any way to subtract the number to get to 21 for my ftp? _________________ http://jeremythegeek.com |

What do you mean "subtract the number?" If you want to serve your FTP server, just forward your IP at port 21. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

but you can't forward to an ftp, only http. I want to do like jeremythegeek.com (which is port 888) minus 867=21 _________________ http://jeremythegeek.com |

So your saying in the forwarding box, you would type "jeremythegeek.com:888-867" and hope it works?
(I'm a little confused). _________________ Bienvenidos! |

Ok. I see you use ZoneEdit. Why do you use WebForwarding instead of normal DNS entries? If you do, just going to ftp://jeremythegeek.com will bring up your FTP server. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

Then here is my solution: Keep the web forwarding option for your HTTP site, and under the DNS A Name, create an entry for "ftp.jeremythegeek.com" to point to your IP. _________________ Bienvenidos! |
