vitchonga,
Save/copy the files generated by Dreamweaver in the htdocs directory located inside Abyss Web Server installation directory. _________________ Support Team

Alright, i saved some files.php in the htdocs folder. Then i went to the Dreamweaver at sites >> edit sites >> the one >> edit >> advanced (upper right corner) >> Category: "Testing Server". On this window, how should it be configured? I have:
Server Model: PHP MySQL;
Access: Local/Network;
Testing Server Folder: ...\Abyss Web Server\htdocs\;
URL Prefix: ??? I have tested localhost, http://127.0.0.1/ and http://127.0.0.1:8000 (Abyss Web server local URL)
I'm going crazy with this configuration!!! E) By the way, which Data Base do you recomend?
Thanks very much again,
Vitchonga |

Dreamweavers connection to testserver and database is shit.
Probably a timeout bug.
Use http://127.0.0.1:8000 as prefix and first open IE and connect to the same URL then test the connection in DreamWeaver. It should now recognize the connection.
I can't however get it to connect to mysql whatever i do! And yes, there's nothing wrong with my database setup. I can use it with Phpmaker. |
