hello, I used to host my music for friends and family to browse and download in a folder inside my root directory.
Recently was cleaning and moving things around... including my music, which has grown to quite a large folder. The problem I created was the music is no longer automaticly indexed by abyss, which while plain looking was a Real asset. I cannot imagine going in to individualy link each of my 12+ gig mp3's.
I have used the seach to try to find a way to link these files... but have run low on time and not found the answer I am looking for, so I thought I would fire off a question to the community before heading to work.
Am I needing to create a virtual path to C:\Music?
If so could you provide a link to any posts that walk me through such a task?
Thank You Aprelium, and thank you community. I have enjoyed the benefits of your labor for Two years now. _________________ Where are we going, and why are we in this handbasket? |

Your settings in the Abyss console should look like this !
Website address should be http://your-site.com/music/
Edit: Also make sure that "Automatic Directory Indexing" is turned on
in the Server Parameters Drop down menu , other than that , your all set! |
