Before I reinstall from scratch I was wondering if any one else has had this problem.. Since I upgraded to the latest version a few days ago, Non of my graphics are shown anymore, I have checked the MIME types and they are still ok.. It wont display jpg's or gif files.. The site is all displayed as normal but no image files..
Any ideas???

I have the same problem except I have a fresh install of 1.2. I get graphics using a local browser but no remote graphics. |

Ok, This is a pain but i got it. :!:
If you use a custom port i.e. 8080 you must put the ip address of the location of the image.
src="http://127.0.0.1:8080/pwrabyss.png"
I had to edit the html source to make this work. |

You shouldn't have to hardcode the port and IP for it to work! I'm running my Abyss off port 34567 and all images are working fine... Are you using a webhop to link users to the site ? |

I have been using ProxeyWeb.net to view my pages. |

I was meaning a web redirector like DynDNS or NoIP where they give you a url you can attach a port number so your users don't have to type in a port number to access the site...
Just checked - the images on my site don't work via proxyweb either. This must be a quirk of proxyweb as they definitely work for normal users - ie. those arriving from the net via a browser. I access my own site from work to grab files I need etc and it works fine.
Have you had someone else check your site for you ? If it's not private, post a link here or PM me the URL to check it if you don't have anyone else who can take a look at it. |

physsicz,
Can you send your abyss.conf file to support@aprelium? We'll check it and see what's wrong. _________________ Support Team

I was finally able to get someone to look at my pages from another computer and my images worked ok the normal way. :lol:
I guess ProxyWeb.net is not a very good place to test sites. :(
I found this site and it works and show the graphics

I notice that proxies are a perfect way of testing your actual
speed of your website from a remote computer , thanks 8) |
