Im trying to setup andromeda http://www.turnstyle.com/andromeda/home.asp
using Abyss and all Im getting is the script-when I load the page. Is there a simple test script I can run to make sure PHP is running\functioning on my server?
Thanks, Beamin1 |

Use this:
<? phpinfo(); ?>
Name it phpinfo.php and browse to it.
That's about as simple as you can get. :wink:
Just curious, why use Andromeda when there are free scripts that do
the same thing? Have you seen http://www.pancake.org/zina.html ? |

Moxx - I used the php info and browsed to it and it only displayed the source...So Im guessing by that my PHP is not running correctly ?
As for why im using andromeda im not yet and thatnks for the link to zina looks much friendlier than andromeda
So from here im reinstalling abyss and php to see where i went wrong... |

Sounds to me the configuration is setup wrong. Did you check the .ini file? |

yeah went through everything I could find on thier website on the ini file - made sure there were no add'l returns or whitespace issues - and posted there exact errors in the zina forums but no luck yet...Its got something to do with giving the webserver write access I think but till someone replies over there Im just guessing....we'll see.
Thanks, Beamin1 |
