can someone help me connect to console

I have installed the software required and it said once I click the OK button after installation the console would appear. This did not happen and I have tried several times restarting the server as well as my computer

any help would be appreciated

What happens when you start the server then open an Internet Explorer window and type http://127.0.0.1:9999 ?

I always get Http 500 Internal error. This page cannot be displayed ..

since i posted the original message i have uninstalled the server and re-installed it again and i keep getting the same error message, this page cannot be displayed ... i have even tried changing the 9999 to another number, but nothing has worked for me

Test with a different browser to check whether it is an Abyss problem or an IE problem.

Try Opera ( www.opera.com ) or Firebird ( www.mozilla.org/products/firebird )

Yes, this is usually an IE problem. Check with other browsers.

Some users getting error 500 on IE with the console were able to solve the problem by going to the TCP/IP properties configuration for their Ethernet card, and choosing in the WINS configuration Tab "Disable WINS resolution".

I tried using a different internet browser (netscape) and the console came right up and everything is working
