Step 1) Read the documentation that came with MySQL
Step 2) Install MySQL
Step 3) Read the documentation that came with Invision
Step 4) Install Invision

8O

If you have specific questions after reading the documentation, ask them and I'm sure people would be glad to help

I use phpMyAdmin, and it's fine. If you want, I followed the tutorials here and phpMyAdmin is working great.

Same, that site help alot. But, if you are going to run a webserver for others, where it says the http://127.0.0.1/phpmyadmin change it to yourserver.com/phpmyadmin/ or else alot of it will be messed up.
