were can i download the software to host CGI / PHP / Perl / MYSQL on my web server so that I can host a forum for people cause right now it dont show up right

| To get the actually files, for php go to http://php.net, for mysql go to mysql.com (i'm going to assume you using abyss). Download them. To install php, go here http://www.aprelium.com/abyssws/php.html to instal php. For mysql, this runs alone, and has nothing to do with you web server. A good that has a tutoial is http://os17fan.cjb.net/ , they should explane how to configure mysql. I got it working, so it can't be too hard :wink: They also have a tutorial on how to configure phpBB (it's one of the major forums) there too. |
