Hi,
New to this.
So I got the abyss web server up and running.
Started adding som of my own photos in a gallery made
by ACDSee (in normal html).
Well that's all fine, but as you all know, if something works
and is up and running, you still want to change it and improve it,
although you know it's bound to be harder than you first thought...
So, I thought it would be nice if the people looking at the photos
could add there own comments or perhaps even make their own
galleries...
I've seen programs like these do stuff like that:
http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/
http://gallery.menalto.com/
Problem is they either require another web server (Apache)
or a host of other programs (Php/MySQL/GD/Imagemagick etc.).
What I'd like is something a bit better than regular html but without
the hassle of having to install all kinds of programs, isn't their a pretty basis PHP gallery program out their? Doesn't have to have all the whistles and bells...?
Please let me know if you gotten anything to wokr, and perhaps drop a link to your web page so I can have a look?
Regards,
Erik |

I can't even get ANY pictures on my site, except some submit buttons, and a borrowed html tag at the bottom. How can you get pics in without it being just the sunk in bit with the .gif logo on it ?.... Any ideas- _________________ "Someone who has never made a mistake, has never tried anything new" |
