Some programs use the web port 80 by default. Typically, they can be web servers, web cam servers, or antivirus/antihacking software. If you have such a program shut it down and retry using a Abyss Web Server. Remember that you can configure Abyss Web Server to listen on another port (other than 80). In such a case, the URL to your site will be http://yoursite:port . _________________ Support Team

It's also common that if you are using windows2000 or XP Prof that IIS might be installed and running. That's MS's webserver which is defaulting to port 80. You'll need to disable the service via the computer manager. |
