hello folks
assume the following infrastructure :
- pc running abyss x2 webserver, root path set to c:\webdata
- pc is running out of disk space (98% full)
- network attached storage providing z:\share_data (950gigs free)
how can i add the nas storage to my website ? by setting up an alias ?
further :
assume my x2 root path points to z:\shared_data
assume i have a second, intentically set up pc (x2 pointing to z:\shared_data)
would this be an easy way to have two servers running in parallel and reading/writing/providing the same data ?
of course i'd need a script to set the ip-address on pc2 to the one pc1 has in case of a failure of pc1 (could be done by using ping and ipconfig) _________________ have fun

You can make an alias to another drive (network or not) and host sites off of it. _________________ -Blake | New Server :D
