| in linux (turbo linux 6.5 server) when i try and access the server i get an error 500 from the browser and i get an Error saying it cant change users. i can view the config console fine though. any ideas? |

The error "Unable to change user" means that you are running Abyss Web
Server as root. But it was unable to switch to the less privileged user configured in the User parameter (Console > Server Configuration > advanced > Server Parameters.)
You can check the documentation for more information about that parameters and how to use it. You can also read the appendix C to know how to override it and how to run the server always as root.
Another simple option is to run the server from the beginning using another
user (other than root.)
