| I have set the "global bandwidth" limit to 20KBps but I am reaching over 700Kbps and it is seriously slowing down my web browsing speeds. I am using win xp and free version abyss. |

While abyss runs, upload bandwith reaches 650-700 kilobits/s. When abyss is shut off, it goes down to 200-300 kbps (emule continues running in background) |

If you have eMule using 300Kbps, and Abyss using 150Kbps then you will see 600Kbps of outgoing bandwidth. You will see spikes from Abyss reaching higher than 150Kbps but it does slow down to that speed very quickly.

| I lowered Abyss global upload bandwith to 10KBytes/s and shut off emule. I am still seeing much more than 10KB/s out of Abyss. I usually see a steady 20-30 KB/s. What's going on? It's eating my bandwidth. |

What are you using to monitor Abyss Web Server bandwidth use?
